Hi. I know it seems like I disappeared, but I have been updating the members area -- just not the main page. Sorry. Anyway, all the Utaban and Music Farir21 files have been removed from the main page. It's a shame, because so many of them were subtitled. In addition, all future Utaban and Music Fair21 related files will not be posted on the main page anymore. I'm very sorry, but it has to be done.

Hi. If you couldn't donate before because PayPal doesn't accept your country, please consider using Moneybookers.com. They accept a wide variety of countries, and since a massive site like Wikipedia uses them for donations, I thought I would give it a try. If you are not old enough to own a credit card or bank account or just don't like the idea of dealing with money online, you may send in donations using money orders (or international money orders if you live outside the U.S.) via regular mail. These can be gotten at post offices in most countries. Please e-mail me if you want to use this method so I can give you my address. If you need more info, please see here. The free public server is getting more and more busy. Now is a good time to donate to get onto the better server. Thank you.

I made a few small changes recently. 1. Screencaps were loading slow for some people, so I moved them to a better server. 2. I can now add annoucements to the top of all the download pages with little effort. Before, I could only do that by re-uploading every single page. 3. Removed 'show download links' from most of the download pages. That was probably annoying for a lot of people. 4. The server now bans people automatically for 5 hours if you flood the server by opening too many connections. I used to have to do that manually.

5. As you probably noticed, I'm now concentrating more on uploading older files. In the past, I thought it was better to just focus on the latest releases, but after uploading all the subtitled Futarigotos, I noticed so many people downloaded them. I thought most people had seem them. Then I uploaded some more older files, and those were extremely popular too. Now that I know what you guys want, look out for more older files. 6. Is a new site design next? I don't know, we'll see. ^^" :P

I just want to remind some people to check their settings in their download manager software. I must ban people every week who continue to ignore this rule. Everyone who gets banned gets listed in the network status page, so if you get disconnected and can't reconnect and you have no idea what's going on, check there first. I don't care if you're downloading 10 files at once, but a high 'max connections per server' setting will cause problems and I have no choice but to ban you. E-mail me to get unbanned or wait 5 hours for the ban to be removed by the firewall. Anyway, thank you to everyone who donated this month. Because of you, the site is still alive. Last year, I spent so much of my own money to host files for you guys, and it feels nice that I don't have to spend as much this year. Thank you so much!

Hi. I'm back again for the 2nd time. Once again, sorry for disappearing. I honestly don't expect it to happen again. First of all, since there were barely any updates in June, everyone who donated between May 28 and July 1 got a free one month extension. Since it's a donation, I'm not obligated to do it, but I want to be fair. One last thing, I have a large backlog of e-mails, so if you sent me one within the last month in a half, you'll probably finally hear from me soon. I really need donations this month or the site will be in danger, so if you can spare anything, I'll greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

I am back. I'm sorry for disappearing. If you donated while I was gone, you should have received your username and password today. Sorry about the delay. Speaking of donators, I would like to once again thank everyone who donated in May. Donations reached $474 for that month. I will try and work hard to make sure your donations are worthwhile. Please be patient as I get caught up again.

Remember when I said that I disliked shared hosting? Well, I officially hate it now. About a month ago, I signed up for a new shared hosting account at a different hosting company and transferred a lot of my files there. And today, I received an e-mail that said that the files I was hosting was against their ToS, and they deleted everything. I didn't get a chance to back anything up. So now I have to reupload about 30 GB of stuff. Please be patient as I fix the broken links.

Why is it that people can upload Hello! Project DVDs onto YouTube and Google Video without getting their pants sued off? I wasn't hosting any DVDs, photobooks, or MP3s on these shared accounts, but I got in trouble anyway. I guess the only way to keep this site alive is through expensive dedicated hosting, so I really, really appreciate all the donations I have received this month. Thanks again.

First of all, I'd like to thank everyone who donated last month. Donations reached over $200. Thank you so much for your support and I hope the new "members only" section will make your donations worthwhile. Also in April, the amount of bandwidth the site pushed reached 18,000 GB (up from 13,000 GB in March). No, I didn't have to pay any more than I usually do.

I'm sure no one noticed, but I was a little generous than usual last month as well. What I mean is that I put more files on the faster and more reliable server than the 'free public server'. This month will be the opposite. So if you're not a donator, you're probably going to have to wait longer to get your files. Sorry, it has to be done; just like traffic lights and railroad crossings have to be used. Inconvenient but neccessary. The good news is that during the 2nd half of the month, I'll probably ease up a bit depending on how much data transfer I have left.

One last thing: don't use such stupid settings in your download manager when downloading from me. I already banned two people yesterday for not following the rules.

Argh, I really dislike shared hosting. I decided to try one of those low cost shared hosting accounts with ridiculous amounts of bandwidth. They didn't like the amount of resources I was using, then complained about the files I had uploaded. (Now you know why I mostly use expensive dedicated servers). I'm guessing they just look at the filenames without really downloading them and just assume it's something bad. Since they don't like what I'm hosting, I got a new server somewhere else. I should be getting a 100% refund, but I'm not sure. When someone offers a money-back guarantee, they usually make you jump through hoops and do other annoying tasks. And then once it seems like you'll get your money back, they just make up some excuse why you don't qualify for the refund.

Anyway, please be patient as I transfer files to the new server. And please report any broken links if you find any. Thank you.

Welcome to the new news page. But to be honest, there is nothing really exciting to report right now... unless you're a donator. There is now a members only page for those of you who have supported me. Get out your username and password and take a look here.
