You may donate using any of the following services after reading the information below:

1. What is the difference between the Free Public Server and the Fast Donators-Only Server?

The free public server is a server that is often very busy, so your speeds when downloading from it will amost always be slow (probably still faster than BitTorrent, but slow for direct downloads). In addition, the free public server has a limited amount of download slots. When all those slots are used up, you will be locked out and you won't be able to download. The fast donators-only server doesn't have these limitations and is connected to a much better network than the free public server. As a result, your speeds should be fast at all times of the day.

2. How much do I need to donate to be eligible?

To be eligible, you must donate $10 United State Dollars or more. $10 USD equals:

About 6.37 Euros
About 10.14 Canada Dollars
About 5.03 United Kingdom Pounds

About 77.8 Hong Kong Dollars
About 1,023 Japan Yen
About 31.76 Malaysia Ringgits
About 22.22 Poland Zlotych
About 13.79 Singapore Dollars
About 303 Taiwan Dollars
About 314 Thailand Baht

Those are the main countries that visit this web site. You might still be able to donate if your country is not listed above.

Any amount less than $10 USD is still greatly appreciated. You just won't be able to download from the faster server or have access to the members-only area.

3. When does my username and password expire?

Every $10 USD that you donate gives you a pass that is good for 31 days. If you donate $50 at once, you will receive one month free (6 months instead of 5). Many people have donated $50 at once, so this is not unusual. Update: I have extended membership time for some of the price brackets. $30 is now good for 4 months membership, $40 is good for 5 months, and $50 is good for 8 months.

$10 USD = 1 month
$20 USD = 2 months
$30 USD = 4 months
$40 USD = 5 months
$50 USD = 8 months

4. Can I still use a download manager/download accelerator with the donators-only server?

Yes, all good download managers should have an area to enter in your username and password.

5. Can I share my username and password?

No, password sharing is not allowed. If you ignore this rule, your account will be deleted and you will not receive your donation back.

6. What other benefits will I receive if I donate?

You will receive access to a donators' only section with files not available to the regular site visitors. Right now, there are over 200 GB of files in the members' area and new files are added each week. I also have plans to add non-Hello Project files to the members area as well.

7. Can I receive a refund if I'm not satified?

You are making a donation, not buying any products or services from me. For example, when you donate to a charity, sometimes they will send you a postcard, a t-shirt, a pen, or something in return for donating to them. Instead of giving you something you probably do not want, I'm rewarding donators with access to a faster server and files that aren't available to regular visitors to my site. So you will not receive your money back, unless you accidently enter in the wrong amount. If that is the case, you must tell me right away before your username and password is sent if you want your money back.

8. When will I receive my username and password after donating?

It can take up to 48 hours, but in most cases, you will receive your username and password via e-mail within 5 hours after donating. Don't worry, the countdown to when your pass expires only starts when your username and password is sent to you. In the future, it will automatically be sent to you after donating, but for now it must be done manually. If I do not send your username and password within 48 hours, then you will receive one free month of membership.

9. What if I don't have a PayPal account?

You don't need a PayPal account. You may use any major credit or debit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, etc) at the PayPal site and you will receive a receipt for your donation. Rest assured that PayPal is a not a small site. It is used by millions of people in dozens of countries. If you already have a PayPal account, you don't have to use the PayPal button below. You may type in "PayPal.com" into your browser, login, click "send money" at the top, and enter in contact@filepulse.com as the e-mail address you want to send your donation. You may also use Google Checkout if you don't like PayPal for whatever reason.

10. What if PayPal doesn't accept the country I live in?

Please try to use Moneybookers.com or Google Checkout if PayPal doesn't accept your country. If you use the Moneybookers button below, I will receive a commission, but manually typing in the address or using Google to go to the site is fine. Moneybookers is used by large sites such as Wikipedia.com for donations and it is an acceptable payment system for other large sites such as eBay. Feel free to check if you wish.

11. What if I am not old enough to sign-up for PayPal, Moneybookers, or Google Checkout?

Ask a friend or a parent to borrow their card (but please do not use anyone's card without their permission!). Or you may send in a donation using regular mail. It is highly recommended that you use an international money order (or regular money order if you live within the United States), which can be purchased at post offices in many countries. You may then send me your international money order to:

FilePulse
PO Box 8501
Covington, WA 98042
USA

12. Can you post your PayPal history profile?

Sure. You can find it here. As you can see, I've been a member for 5 years and my account is in good standing and has never been suspended.

Why should I donate to you?

Well, I've spent over $3,000 of my own money to start this site, so donations are greatly appreciated. And you will be getting something back in return. Thank you for taking the time to read this page!
